Referral for victims of crime and their non-offending family members to mental health and other community services.  



As part of our Child Advocacy Program S.A.R.A. offers several presentations and programs suitable for young people and their educators.  These programs are presented in our schools free of charge.  They are intended to provide information to help students make healthy decisions about relationships and help educators recognize children who may be involved in abusive situations and prevent assault on  young people.  

Safe Dates  -A classroom program that can be presented in 2-6 sessions of approximately 40 minutes.  Young people are taught to recognize and avoid harmful relationships.  This curriculum is suitable in grades 5-12.  

VOICES – Facilitated support groups for teenage girls in middle and high school,

PREVENTION & HEALING–  Therapist facilitated support groups at local schools.  



Darkness to Light–  This program is for adults.  It is designed for educators, and adults in care taking situations.  It provides education on the dynamics of child sexual abuse and prevention.  The information is presented in a 3 hour program that may be done in two 90 minute sessions if necessary.  www.d2l.org


Mandatory Reporting–  A panel discussion regarding the responsibility of professionals to report child abuse.
